Beloved friends and Tattva Shakti practitioners,
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
The new samvatsara has begun today and this New Year too, just like all previous years, begins with Navaratri – The Nine days dedicated to celebrate different aspects of Shakti in our lives. These 9 days are full of opportunities for spiritual practitioners, seekers and commoners equally for the gradual shift of cosmic energies day-after-day is conducive for all. Business people start new projects, yogis try higher meditations. tantra practitioners engage in higher order rituals and so on.. This time the tone of energies has already been upped spiritually due to a total solar eclipse on the preceding day thereby making 10 days window available to serious spiritual seekers to establish the connection with creative, elevating energies of universe in the form of Goddesses.
It is so fascinating to know that whatever we see around us is the manifestation of that invisible, intangible, un-perceivable source of creation – shakti through her wonderfully intelligent ways. In fact in this tangible, perceptible world Shakti consolidates in the form of Panch-Mahabhootas (Panch-Tattwas) to create this universe. The galaxies, stars, blackholes, dark-matter, atomic particles, various forms of energies and matter.. everything’s existence is rooted in that primordial shakti-the consort of pure consciousness, Shiva. No one understand it better than a Tattva Shakti Vigyaan practitioner and thus it would be apt to say TSV practitioners would be best able to connect with different aspects of shakti during these days.
Our spiritual journey is not a mind-game rather it is systematic process of elevation of individual consciousness from gross to subtle and subtle to sublest. The spirituality can not be reduced to linear contemplations or circular visualizations but it ought to be going about processes which offer us experiential growth instead hence specific practices have already been given out to all the people on the path of Tattva Shakti connected with gurumandala. TSV practitioners are advised to experiment with those practices and avail the maximum benefits through these seeking support and protection from the compassionate souls of Gurumandala, which is so very essential part of every sadhana. However for the uninitiated following should be worth contemplating.
The grossest expression of shakti is solidity or Prithvi Tattva, preceeded by Jala, Agni, Vayu and Akasha. And since our journey in the spiritual domain is about moving from gross to subtle, the sequence of practices for us during Navaratri should logically begin from grossest energies.. thus Goddess Shaiputri (The daughter of Mountain… rock… prithvi) figures as First aspect of Devi. The Prithvi tattwa is also linked to mooladhara (root) chakra (the 1st chakra where Kundalini is residing in dormant state). Second roopa of Devi is Brahmchaarini [though not completely but on a certain level connected with sexual center.. the second chakra i.e. swaadhisthaan (Sacral) ]. This chakra being connected to jala tattva. And so on…. culminating in the Siddhidaatri (the bestower of all siddhis) linked to sahasraara chakra and above.
Thus if one knows and is initiated in the correct spiritual processes one can connect and work through these energy bands in a sequential way leading to the ascension of consciousness and even self-realization. Tattva Shakti Vigyaan does exactly that, guiding the practitioner to develop sensitivity and capacity; To be able to sense and connect with these energies starting from Earth to Akasha and so on.
Just one word of caution – even if one is truly interested and wishes to work with these spiritual energies one should not take up these practices until one receives proper guidance and initiation because if when you try it yourself you become susceptible to invasion of entities from subtler realms. For the uninitiated people it is better to do good things in this period like charity, service etc. instead of picking a mantra or a ritual from a book and try it out.
For commoners it is better to make use of these energies in their gross and intellectual development rather than spiritual… for example on day one.. pray for material abundance and profits in business, on day two pray for strength of character and will power and so on.
Blessings from Masters..
