Beloved Friends & TSV practitioners,
This year’s Navaratri shall begin on 31st of March and this high energy period shall last till 8th of April. This time around we have beginning of New Year in many Indian calendars so it is appropriate that I wish all of you, especially the residents of Bhaaratvarsh a very love-filled, joyous and adventurous new year.
Now back to the subject. Those who are involved in spiritual practices and travelling on the path of sadhana would be wondering how they can make best use of these auspicious and energy-full days in elevating their consciousness. Most of you would opt for fasting for some specific days (during this span of nine days), some of you may have decided to take up paath (recitation) of Durgaa SaptShati to receive the blessings of Goddess – The Shakti, which drives this universe. Few of you may take vow of not indulging in any sort of taamasik (negative) karma and visit some holy place on regular basis to cleanse and charge yourself up. All this is good and shall give your some benefit for sure however if you can keep few things in mind and take it up in your discipline for these 9 days tremendous amount of change you will be able to observe in your being.
First of all you must know that these nine days are the period when feminine grace is abundantly available in earthly plane. Secondly your own receptivity of these energies is governed by your attitude towards the shaktis in real flesh and blood. Uncontaminated mind, purity of thought, abstinence from indulgence in sexual activities, awareness of divine shakti’s reflection and presence in every woman (including your social/spiritual partner) is mandatory to keep the receiving gates and channels open. For females the rules are pretty same they also need to feel the presence of Shakti in every woman around along with that they need to drop their jealousy, attitude of contempt and condemnation completely. They need to treat themselves as shakti only. If you are inducted and practising Tattva Shakti Vigyaan or any other Tantra discipline (esoteric and exoteric both are included) from your Guru you should also seek guidance, protection and support of Gurumandala. Seeking protection is important for both males and females however sadhikas (female practitioners) are at higher risk of receiving uncontrolled ‘surge’ of energies if they don’t seek protection of Guru-Mandala. Without this invocation of Gurumandala for protection you risk the uncontrolled exposure and reception of very high energies which may ruin your astral body. I have personally seen this period in particular makes women vulnerable to negative energies hence cautioning you here.
You should know also know which gates are designated for receiving grace of shakti in males and females. Males should work on their heart and keep this chakra open while females should keep their third-eye chakra open during this period.
As a Sadhaka or Sadhika you should decide to stay rooted in the following discipline –
1. Reduce your social interactions as much as possible.
2. Avoid eye contact and physical touch with others.
3. Dedicate fixed time for your sadhana in morning and evening.
4. Mid-noon and Mid-Nights are not to be included in your sadhana unless advised by your Guru.
5. Have sattvik food and drink lots of water.
6. Do not get angry or sexually aroused. (Keeping Shiva-Shakti consciousness helps here.)
7. Use the same place and asana for japa/kriya/sadhana and don’t share the asanas with anyone.
7. Last but not the least – keep your mind engaged in virtues of Goddess.
If you follow the above instructions you shall definitely feel elevated in these nine auspicious days. Tattva Shakti Vigyaan practitioners can write to Ma Shakti or me to know which elements to work on during these days.
Blessings from Masters..
