Master reminds us not to miss spiritual lessons behind rituals

|| Throwing away the husk through contemplation ||

Lovely Souls,

Every child is born in a family or gets a family to be brought up in, except in rarest of rare cases. Every individual, whatever his family’s religion be, has witnessed/participated/copied some or the other rituals. In fact due to prolonged and repeated exposure to family practices a child gets programmed for following these rituals blindly resulting in a kind of passive or ignorant view towards religious practices. In fact every religion imparts its Master’s spiritual understanding to the masses by creating social rituals.

Our beloved, Acharya Agyaatdarshan Anand Nath picks up a Hindu ritual, Shraadh which is about doing things for those ancestors who have already left this physical realm. Without deliberating on whether there is any value/truth in the concept of reincarnation and existence of Pitrs (departed ancestors) he simply points to what spiritual values/principles are being propagated through this particular ritual.

It is up to us to have a liberal view of every religion and religious practices/rituals they follow and focus on their core teachings. This is the best way to be able to make this world free from violence of every kind.
