Beloved friends and disciples..
I am thankful to the existence for bestowing so much love upon me, through all of you.. and wish you all peace, love and light in your life.
While I accept your Guru Poornima wishes.. it reminds me of the universal priniciple at work. You may ask what is that? I call it the omnipresent Universal Guiding Principle.. This guiding force is always working for your elevation and refinement. This is that principle which makes you capable of making choices.. It is the same principle which intuitively makes you aware when you get selfish or when your reponse center shifts to “reason & logic” instead of “compassion & universal-intuition”. This is the very principle which unites us as humans despite so much animalistic instincts being within.. And of course this is the principle which draws you to be humane, charitable and compassionate.
As I see this is the only principle which works towards making you complete.. “poorna”. No wonder this principle is remembered and celebrated on a “Poornima” (full moon) rather than any other day.. singifying the fulfillment of your deepest aspiration of completion (poornataa) through the universal guiding principle.. which you also call “Guru”.
But there are so many days prior to and after this day and not all the days are same.. each one of you have his/her highs and lows throughout the year. A low here does not mean that you earn lesser money or profit but it would mean how much distanced you became from your poornata.. how selfish you stayed while operating through the day. A low would similarly mean how you mariginalized your highest aspiration.. and ran after something less important, untrue or an action not passing the test of benovelance. A low would instead mean how many times you ignored the innver voice of the univeral guiding principle… or your inner Guru. This is your “sahaja Guru”.. the one which is born with you..
You are not aware of this fact but your Inner Guru is a permanant guest housed in your psyche and unfortunately you despite being the landlord, don’t have the rights to oust him.. yet you can do lots of things to make this guru too weak to utter a single word or be able to point a finger to the “right path”.. . And what you have to do to succeed in make him so? It is really easy.. in fact very natural for you to attain this goal. Just don’t provide him enough space of attention.. just don’t give him the food of your humane charitable actions and loving thoughts to survive on, cut short the supply of life-supporting water of your compssionate nature to keep him thirsty, never allow him to enjoy the peace and trnquility by avoiding to attend the meditation sessions and finally blindfold him by closing all the windows around which you could keep open only by listening to “divine words” of buddhas and masters outside. These are some of the key support systems of your inner-guru.. The Guru outside is necessary for you can not test yourself with the inner… you can not develop surrender and so on… that is why I say Don’t kill your Guru.. because you can not so instead feed him so that he can be of some help to you.
But who wants that? In fact most of people have already succeeded in the above mission through their ignorant acts and their “Sahaja Guru” has slipped in a state of coma.. now that Guru doesn’t speak a word.. and at times when he whispers he is hardly audible. This Sahaja Guru has lost all the strength to hold you back forcefully when you move on the wrong path but all he is can do is just a single miss of your heart beat or little extra rush of blood towards your value-starved brain.. but who notices?
The inner Guru is almost dead.. not completely dead but definitely bed-ridden and the care-takers don’t contempelate attending to him in their dreams what to say of making efforts to revive him.. they have in fact chosen passive euthnasia for him but in their sheer optimism they have forgotten that he is “Sahaja Guru” and wouldn’t die before they themselves pass the test of being brain-dead. No issues if you cant kill him you can definitely keep his voice of concience as low as possible by not feeding him regularly.. (laughs)
Do not forget this universal principle has been reinforcing itself through ages and the same has been reestablished over and again when this domain of existence for humans, its matrices fall astray and become devoid of higher aspirations, values and truth. Its not that it happens once in a Yuga when a Krisna gets up to say “Yada-Yada hi Dharmasya.. glaanirbhavati baarata.. Abhyutthaanamadharmasya tadaatmaanam srijaamyaham”.. it happens every day. You can see if you are awake.. and if not then Guru Poornima is a beatiful reminder.. it yells at you every year that still there is incompleteness in your life.. that all the mad, blind race in which you have not been able to feel complete so far needs your conscious review. That you have to be in tune with your inner Guru.. That you have to feed your “Sahaja Guru” through listening and following the outer Guru.. with complete surrender. That you have to think of holding the thread of charity and unversal love to be able to reach the divine fountains of love and bliss.
Today on Guru Poornima you shall see many opportinities to challenge your limits of being human.. you will have reasons to make choices.. you will have moments guided by the UNIVERSAL GUIDING principle.. This years’ sutra is charity and universal love.. some of friends have been really enthusiastic about launch of some programmes this day and they have done good preparations. Devpriya shall be announcing these initiatives.. I know you all shall lead by example before initiating others in its furtherance..
May wisdom, love and peace be showered upon you..
Lets chant together..
“Gururbramha gururvishu gururdevomaheshwara.. Guruh saakshaat parabrahma tasmai shreeguruve namah”
Seeing guru principle in me is not sufficient.. resolve to make your inner guru available to me so that I can create a replica within.. for you definitely need one..
