It may sound as if Krishnamurti is a poet. Isn’t it? The fact is any enlightened person is most likely to become poetic in his expression of the existence. The reason is that the God is beyond words.. and poem is also something which uses words to give you glimpse of void between the words. Poem is much more than the collection of words and so is existence, the God’s creation. If you look at the poetic expression of Krishnamurti you are to reduce him to be a poet only.. which he is not.
The fact is J. Krishnamurti is a prominent name in the list of enlightened people of just goneby era. The son of a poor farmer of South India who was picked up by then Anne Besant of Theosophical Society of India. He was prepared to by the society to help Buddha’s come back as ‘Gautam the Buddha’ wasn’t finding a suitable body to come back. Krishnamurti was supposed to render his body for Buddha’s soul… but somehow on the designated day things didn’t turn out as planned. Krishnamurti rebeled against the Theosophical society declaring he was against any ‘organised religion’.. His approach to spirituality was individualistic as in he felt there is no ‘Highway to salvation’!
If you would have asked the same question to Krishnamurti himself, I am not sure what answer you would have received. He could have given you anything.. may be a smile full of compassion to a blunt reply like “You dont know who the hell are you and you are bothered to know who am I?”
Buts I am happy you asked it.. if you ask me.. the Krishnamurti is the cliff of human potential. Krishnamurti as a phenomenon is an assurance that anyone who approached life with a sincere inquiry can attain that state. In fact each one on earth can attain..
Now would you let me know who are you? Its not a question which would be easy to answer because I wouldn’t accept false answer..
